That's right. As technology continues to evolve, new ways of making money online are popping up. The most popular way to earn money online has always been from a laptop or computer. However, recent advances in cell phone technology has made it possible to even make money from a Smartphone.

By using Apps on your Smartphone that pay you. Most Apps don't pay, actually they cost money to use them. But there is a growing number of Apps that actually pay people to use them. Some of them require that you complete surveys or complete certain gigs such as uploading receipts.
Others pay you for simply taking pictures that they need. Other Apps offer money back coupons for purchasing at your local supermarket. Some of these Apps don't pay but help you save money by offering coupons that you can use at stores.
Some of these Apps are for iPhone's and others are for Android phones. Still others operate on both types of phones. The bottom line is most of these Apps that pay are completely free so you have nothing to lose. However, make sure you have enough memory on your phone before you download these Apps.
How much money can I make?
The amount of money you can make on your Smartphone depends on how much time and effort you dedicate to these Apps that pay. However, most of these Apps do not pay a lot of money per assignment, so the key is to complete as many assignments as possible.
Most of these Apps will only pay you a few dollars per completed assignment or service. However, some Apps pay more than others. But before you think that trying to make money on these Apps is a waste of time, consider the recent news story of a guy who earned around $20,000 using an App that pays for pictures.
This free App actually offers people to take pictures and upload them to the App, and if a buyer is interested, you get paid. This guy uploaded tons of pictures to this App and apparently his pictures where of such good quality that after a while he earned around $20,000.
Of course, this doesn't mean everyone will earn this type of income on their Smartphones. However, it is possible to make an extra $100 to $200 a month. However, since most modern Smartphones come with high quality built in cameras, you really have nothing to lose.
Now of course the likelihood of earning big money on these Apps is not probable since most of them pay only a few bucks per assignment. However, even if you can make an extra $100 to $200 a month on your Smartphone, I don't think it's a bad idea.
Especially when you consider that you are already probably paying around $50 to $60 a month to use your Smartphone.

This isn't stuff that I have read from others, these are Apps that I actually use. However, I will be honest, I'm not making a lot of money with these Apps.
However, I look at it as another income stream to add to may overall online businesses. And at the same time, it doesn't hurt me at all to make a few extra bucks in my spare time on my Smartphone, so at the very least my Smartphone can pay for itself! Not bad right?

This App pays you back after you spend money shopping.
2. Shopkick
Similar to Checkpoints. Earn cash back from shopping.
3. iBotta
Another popular App that offers discounts, coupons and cash back for shopping.
4. Shopalong
This App offers cash for completing assignments during your shopping trip.
5. Checkout 51
I personally enjoy this App. After you go shopping, Checkout 51 offers you cash back for items you purchased that they have on their list. Simply upload your receipt and after they approve it, you get the cash back. Once you have a minimum of $20 in earnings, you can request a check.
6. Receipt Hog
I use this App a lot. After I do my supermarket shopping, I upload my receipts to Receipt Hog and I get points. After a certain amount of points you can get free rewards such as gift cards and other discounts.
7. Receipt Pal
Similar to Receipt Hog. Upload your receipt and earn points. However, like Receipt Hog, only supermarket receipts count.
